Touro Sortudo Slot Review: 97.55% and a Blank Field
In short — our verdict: 5.4/10 — You get a 97.55% return on a three-reel 3-4-3 grid, the highest of the 62 Pragmatic Play builds that answered us with a return. The studio leaves the RTP field on its own game page empty, and the 5,000x ceiling carries odds of one in 1,666,666,667 spins, a figure the game server returns and no screen prints.
You can read the return of this slot in two places and get two different answers. The running game prints 97.55%; the maker's own page for it prints nothing at all. We played 275 paid rounds, measuring one series of 67 end to end, and queried the game server behind 80 other Pragmatic Play titles, 62 of which answered with a return to work out which one of those is the odd one out.

Touro Sortudo Strengths and Weaknesses
Pros: What Works Well
- Pro: The running build prints its return in plain words: 97.55%, the highest of the 62 Pragmatic Play builds that answered with a return on the same day.
- Pro: The bet ladder is unusually wide for a ten-line game, from BRL 0.10 to BRL 1,250.00 a spin.
- Pro: The rules screen states the 5,000x limit as a cap and says outright that a round ends when it is reached, which many slots leave implicit.
- Pro: The free demo runs from the studio's own page with no account, and it reports the same 97.55% the rules screen of this build prints.
- Pro: MONEY coins carry their value in print on the face of the coin, so nothing about the amount is hidden behind an animation.
Cons: What Holds It Back
- Con: The maker's own page for this game has an RTP field and leaves it empty, on all four language versions we checked.
- Con: The chance of reaching the advertised 5,000x is one in 1,666,666,667 spins by the game server's own figure, and no screen in the game prints it.
- Con: The biggest line pay in the whole paytable is the wild at 20x the bet, so the base game on its own gets nowhere near the ceiling.
- Con: Hold & Spin did not start once in our 275 paid rounds, and five MONEY coins never landed together.
- Con: A coin marked 1,000.00 can sit on the reels and pay nothing, which reads as a win to anyone not counting coins.
- Con: Brazil banned the offer and advertising of these games in September 2026, so there is no licensed place to play it for money here.

What This Slot Actually Is
This slot is three reels and ten fixed lines. The reels show three, four and three symbols, and the lines pay from the left. That is the whole frame. Pragmatic Play dresses it as Chinese New Year: red envelopes, firecrackers, mandarins, a scroll, a gold ox under a pagoda roof. The name on the loading screen is Portuguese for lucky bull.
The part that matters sits on top of that frame. Gold MONEY coins land with a cash value printed on them, anywhere from 0.5x to 100x the total bet. In the base game they are decoration until five of them land at once; then every coin on screen pays. A Hold & Spin round can start on any spin. The other symbols fade, three respins begin, and each new coin resets the counter back to three. Fill all ten positions and a fixed GRAND of 2,000x the bet is added on top.
The Return the Studio Leaves Blank
The blank field sits on the studio's page, not in the game. The running build prints its return; the maker's own page for it does not. On the rules screen of the build we played the line reads "The theoretical RTP of this game is 97.55%", and the game server sends the same figure in its init response. The game page at pragmaticplay.com carries an RTP field, and that field is empty — in English, in Brazilian Portuguese, in Portuguese and in Spanish.

That would mean little if the field were always empty. It isn't. We pulled 80 game pages at random from the studio's own sitemap, and 79 of them print a number, between 96.00% and 96.77%. The single other blank belongs to a scratchcard. Nor is this a page nobody has got around to filling: the titles with the freshest timestamps in that sitemap all carry their figure.
So why would this one be different? We can't read anyone's intent, and we won't pretend to. What we can do is place the number. We sent the same request to the game servers behind 81 titles in the catalogue, of which 62 answered with a return. The 97.55% came back highest of all of them: ahead of 97.00%, ahead of 96.71%, about a point above the median. The one game whose return sits at the top of the catalogue is also the one whose field on the website is blank.
What 275 Rounds Looked Like
275 rounds looked like a slow leak. A 97.55% return describes millions of spins, not an evening, and ours went the way most evenings go. Across the measured series of 67 rounds at a 2.00 stake we put in 134.00 and took back 104.00, which is 77.6%. Fourteen rounds paid. The best of them returned 60.00, thirty times the stake, and a start like that is exactly what makes people stay.

Then the grind. Across all 275 paid rounds Hold & Spin never started once, though the rules say it can trigger on any spin. Five MONEY coins never landed together either. The closest we came was four at a time, worth 235.00 between them at a 10.00 stake, and that round paid nothing at all. The screen said GOOD LUCK. A single coin marked 1,000.00 turned up on the middle reel and did the same thing.
This is what low volatility looks like from the inside. The game is honest about the label: LOW VOLATILITY sits on the loading screen and at the top of the rules. Catalogue sites disagree — rotativka files the same game under medium — but the badge in the client is the one the player sees.
Where the 5,000x Actually Lives
The 5,000x lives in the feature, never in the paytable. The loading screen says WIN UP TO 5000X. The rules screen says something colder: the maximum win is limited to 5,000x the bet. Reach it mid-feature and the round ends there, the win is paid, and everything still running is forfeited. That is a cap, not a prize.

How far is it from the base game? The entire paytable tops out at the wild, which pays 20x the bet for three. At the maximum bet of BRL 1,250.00 that is BRL 25,000.00, and it is the best line in the game. Everything between 20x and 5,000x has to come from coins, from the Hold & Spin round, and from the 2,000x GRAND for a full screen.
The game server knows the odds of getting there and the game never shows them. In its init response the server returns a maximum-win hit rate of one in 1,666,666,667 spins. The rules template even has a line for it. The sentence reads "The maximum theoretical win in this game is {0} with a chance to hit of 1 in {1} spins", and in this build it is switched off. For scale, the sister title Greedy Fortune Pig reports one in 17,301,038, and the median across the 62 builds that answered with a return is about one in 4.2 million.
Two Questions About Touro Sortudo Settled Elsewhere
Two questions about this game are settled on pages of their own, because the answer to each runs longer than a line. The first is whether paying hours exist: they do not, and nothing in the build or its server response refers to a clock at all. The second is whether there is a Touro Sortudo 1000 edition, the way Big Bass and Gates of Olympus have one. There is not, and we checked every one of the 625 game addresses the studio publishes.
Playing from Brazil After the Ban
Playing from Brazil after the ban means the free demo and nothing else. Since this has not been a question about which site to use. Medida Provisória 1.394/2026 prohibits the exploitation, the offer, the intermediation and the advertising of fixed-odds betting across Brazil. Its first paragraph covers virtual events of online games, and article 3 defines an online game as one whose result comes from a random number generator, which is what a slot is. Licensed sites went dark on 6 October and balances were returned to players between 9 and 14 October.
The free demo is a different thing in law: nothing of value is put at risk, which is the definition the decree itself uses. It runs from the studio's own page, needs no account, and reports the same 97.55%.
Where Touro Sortudo Falls Short
Touro Sortudo falls short in two places, and both are about what you are told rather than what you are paid.
The first is the blank field. A reader who checks the maker's page before playing does the sensible thing and comes away with no number at all. A reader who simply starts the game gets 97.55% on the second screen. The figure is good news for the player, which makes its absence from the website harder to explain, not easier.
The second is the ceiling. Every surface the player meets before the first spin advertises 5,000x: the loading screen, the catalogue listings, the marketing line. The one number that tells you what 5,000x means in practice lives in a server response no player will ever read. The template line built to display it is turned off.

- A gold coin that carries a cash value between 0.5x and 100x the total bet and pays only when five or more land together.
- Hold & Spin
- A respin round that starts at random, holds every MONEY coin in place and restarts a three-respin counter each time a new coin lands.
- GRAND
- A fixed award of 2,000x the total bet, paid when MONEY coins fill all ten positions at the end of a Hold & Spin round.
- COLLECT
- A MONEY coin that sweeps the values of every other coin on screen and clears their positions.
- Cap
- A hard limit on a single round, not a prize: here the round ends the moment the win reaches 5,000x the bet.

What Else Do Readers Ask?
These are the questions our own session raised and could answer from the rules screen, the game server or a public register. Where the answer is a measurement of ours, the sample size is named.
What is the RTP of Touro Sortudo?
97.55%, printed on the rules screen of the running build and returned by the game server. The studio's own page for the game leaves its RTP field empty.
Is the 5,000x realistic?
No. The game server reports a chance of one in 1,666,666,667 spins, and the 5,000x acts as a cap that ends the round rather than a prize to aim for.
How volatile is Touro Sortudo?
The game labels itself LOW VOLATILITY on the loading screen and in the rules, with the explanation that low volatility pays more often in smaller amounts.
How many paylines does it have?
Ten fixed lines, paying from left to right, across three reels that show three, four and three symbols.
What is the biggest line pay?
The wild, at 20x the bet for three of a kind, which is BRL 25,000.00 at the 1,250.00 maximum stake.
Can I still play it for money in Brazil?
No. Medida Provisória 1.394/2026 banned the offer and advertising of these games from , and licensed sites went offline on 6 October.
How do we test a slot like this?
We open the studio's own demo, log every round the game server returns, read the rules screen end to end, and compare the figures against the same server's answers for other games in the catalogue.
Does the demo use the same maths?
Yes. The demo build reports the same 97.55% return and the same 5,000x cap as the rules screen describes, which we checked in two currencies.
