Touro Sortudo RTP: 97.55% and an Empty Field

In short: The return is 97.55%, printed by the running build on its own rules screen and sent by the game server. Pragmatic Play's page for this game has an RTP field and leaves it empty, which 79 of 80 other pages in its catalogue do not.

Two places publish a return for this slot, and only one of them is the maker. The game tells you 97.55%; the studio's page tells you nothing, in four languages.

Touro Sortudo's RTP

Touro Sortudo's return to player is the share of stakes the game pays back over the long run, and the running build states it as 97.55% on its rules screen. The game server sends the same figure. Pragmatic Play's own page for the title shows an RTP field with nothing in it.

Game:
Touro Sortudo (a Pragmatic Play video slot)
Type:
Slot game
RTP as published:
97.55%, and that figure comes from the game rather than from the maker's website.
Max win:
5,000x the bet, and the client states it as a cap rather than as a promise.

Where the Figure Comes From

The Touro Sortudo RTP comes from the game itself, in two places that agree. The rules screen, reached from the i icon, prints the line "The theoretical RTP of this game is 97.55%". The game server says the same thing in machine form in its first response to the client, as rtps:{regular:"97.55"}.

Even at the 1,250.00 ceiling the best line in the table is the wild at 25,000.00 for three, which is twenty times the bet. Source: our own screenshot.

The word regular matters. Some titles ship several builds, and the server lists them all. The sister game Greedy Fortune Pig returns three at once: an ante version at 96.52%, a bonus-buy version at 96.55% and a standard one at 96.50%. This game has exactly one. We read one build, and it reports one configuration; a game that ships several would list them in the same line.

The Field the Studio Left Blank

Pragmatic Play's page for Touro Sortudo has a Basic Game Info block with a line that reads RTP, and the value next to it is empty. We checked the English, Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese and Spanish versions of that page, and all four are blank.

So we measured how unusual that is. We pulled 80 game pages at random from the studio's own sitemap: 79 print a figure, between 96.00% and 96.77%, and the one other blank belongs to a scratchcard. The pages with the newest timestamps in that sitemap carry their numbers too, so "not filled in yet" does not explain it.

One more comparison is worth making, because it tests the claim from the other side. For 61 of those games we hold both numbers, the one on the page and the one from the server, and they agree in 54 cases. Six of the rest differ by rounding. Exactly one differs for real: Mahjong Wins Triple Pot prints 96.50% and its server reports 97.00%. So the studio's pages are usually right, which makes a blank field harder to read as an oversight.

Then we asked where 97.55% sits. We sent the same request to the game servers behind 81 titles in the catalogue. Sixty-two answered with a return. Their median sits near 96.5%, and one single figure stands above 97.00% — this one. Of everything we could query, the highest return is the one whose page prints nothing.

What This RTP Does Not Promise

It is an average over millions of rounds, and it says nothing about an evening. Our own measured series of 67 rounds at a 2.00 stake returned 77.6% — we staked 134.00 and got back 104.00. A short run that came back well above the average would have been just as uninformative.

The figure is also silent about shape. It does not tell you that the best line in the paytable pays 20x the bet, or that MONEY coins need five on screen before any of them pay. It says nothing about the 5,000x ceiling either. Those odds are one in 1,666,666,667 spins — a figure the game server returns and no screen prints. A high return with a low ceiling simply means the money comes back in smaller, more frequent pieces, which is what the LOW VOLATILITY badge is for.

Who Should Not Rely on This Figure

We do not recommend choosing Touro Sortudo over Greedy Fortune Pig on the strength of this number alone, and we do not recommend taking 97.55% into a session as a forecast. It is an average over millions of rounds, and our own 67-round series came back at 77.6%. The figure also says nothing about how the money arrives: the best line pays 20x, and the ceiling above it carries odds of one in 1,666,666,667.

Checking It Yourself in Ten Minutes

Open the demo from the studio's game page, click the i icon, and scroll to the end of GAME RULES. The return is printed there in plain words, above the minimum and maximum bet. It is the figure for the build you are actually running, and that is the one that matters — not the one a catalogue repeats.

If you want the same answer without playing, the game server will tell you directly. The init response it sends when the client loads carries the return, the cap and the bet ladder in one line. That is how we compared 81 titles in an afternoon.

What Else Do Readers Ask?

The questions below are the ones a reader asks after noticing the blank field, and each answer names the file or screen it came from.

What is the RTP of Touro Sortudo?

97.55%, printed on the rules screen of the running build and confirmed by the game server's init response.

Why is the RTP missing on the Pragmatic Play page?

We cannot answer for the studio. The field exists and is empty on all four language versions we checked, while 79 of 80 other game pages carry a figure.

Does the demo have a different RTP?

No. The demo build reports the same 97.55%, which we checked in both reais and dollars.

Are there several RTP versions of this game?

No. The server returns a single configuration, unlike the sister title Greedy Fortune Pig, which ships three.

Is 97.55% high for a Pragmatic Play slot?

Yes. It was the highest of 62 builds that answered from the studio we queried, where the median sits near 96.5%.

What is the house edge?

2.45% of every stake, which is what a 97.55% return leaves behind over the long run.

How do we verify an RTP?

We read it on the rules screen of the running build and compare it against the init response the game server sends to the client.

Does a high RTP mean I will win?

No. It describes millions of rounds; our own 67-round series came back at 77.6%.
